  • Gaiety Panto 2021
    This is no ordinary panto, it's the Gaiety Panto! Take an enchanting journey under the sea. This year’s Gaiety Panto is THE LITTLE MERMAID, a pantomime extravaganza with singing, dancing and laugh out loud oceanic adventures! Pictured: legendary Gaiety Panto Dame Joe Conlan (Chief Cook), Ciara Lyons (Ariel) and David Crowley (Prince Eric) bubbling with excitement as the Gaiety Theatre will be transformed into a stunning kingdom under the sea from 28 November 2021 until 9 January 2022.
  • Gaiety Theatre Stamps
    An Post has issued four national stamps celebrating 150 years of opening nights at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre, with scenes from Abdication’ (1948), ‘Dick Whittington’ (1957), ‘Riverdance’ (2017) and the Druid theatre company’s ‘Sive’ (2018) by John B. Keane. The new stamps are available now from selected post offices and anpost.com/gaiety. Pictured at the unveiling of the new stamps are Joe Conlan, Gaiety Pantomime Dame; Ellen Bonner of Riverdance, Conor Keane, son of the late playwright John B Keane who wrote Sive and Conor Doyle (god son of much-loved Dublin actor and comedian Jimmy O’Dea).
  • GOAL Jersey Day Launch
    Gear up for GOAL Jersey Day 2021! Humanitarian aid agency GOAL is appealing to people all over Ireland to show their true colours by getting on their kit for GOAL Jersey Day 2021 in partnership with Folens.
  • Carlow Arts Festival 2021
    Preparations are underway for Carlow Arts Festival 2021, the first cultural event of the summer, as it is the first Arts festival to return to live, in person events. Pictured skaters Sonia Raposa and Carla Rodera at the filming of the 72 hour lost weekend, co-created by VISUAL and Carlow Arts Festival as part of Women in the Machine. The exciting large scale film, digital and live project takes over Carlow's behemoth former Braun building, VISUAL and digital platforms and features 50 original arts projects and the work of hundreds of artists.
  • Night Dances

  • Sparq Smark Park Hazel Chu
    The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Hazel Chu launches SPARQ - Ireland's first Smart Exercise Park in Donaghmede. Dublin company Sparq, in partnership with Dublin City Council, open Ireland’s very first fitness focused smart park today in Donaghmede Park, Dublin 13 - with plans to roll out the community fitness initiative nationwide.
