Tickets on Sale tomorrow Thursday 15th September at 9am

Fans will get a second chance to be part of this unique performance for the camera as Blinder Films and Sligoville in association with u:mack and Mother have added a second performance by Grace Jones and her band at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on 22 September 2016.

Tickets – which will be limited to two per purchase – priced at €49.95 (including booking fee and Olympia Theatre restoration levy fee) go on sale tomorrow on Thursday 15th September at 9am. Please note that tickets are only available to purchase online via www.ticketmaster.ie and matching ID will be required for entry. Internet bookings are subject to 12.5% Service Charge / Agents €2.15.
A limited number of production holds for the first date (21 September) will also be released this Thursday at 9am.

The concert will feature in the forthcoming film GRACE JONES – THE MUSICAL OF MY LIFE. This documentary is a collaboration between Grace Jones and director Sophie Fiennes. They first embarked on the project together in 2005 and it is scheduled for release in 2017.

Director Sophie Fiennes (Hoover Street Revival, The Pervert’s Guide to the Cinema, The Pervert’s Guide to Ideology, Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow) says ‘This project with Grace has been an extraordinary journey ‘following the Yellow Brick Road’. We look forward to welcoming her audience to participate in our film and contributing to conjuring the Grace magic.’

GRACE JONES – THE MUSICAL OF MY LIFE is produced by Katie Holly, Sophie Fiennes and Shani Hinton in association with JW Films and financed by BBC Films and the BFI in association with Roads Entertainment and the TBA21 Foundation and with the participation of Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board.
